Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I completed my pre-doctoral training at The University at Buffalo's Counseling Center. I have seven years experience working at The University of West Florida’s Counseling & Wellness Services. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Florida.
I specialize in helping individuals deal with the aftermath of hardship. Life is full of surprises. Some are good, some are painful. The exact details of pain are always unique. Themes I am familiar with include sexual assault, incest, combat reactions, bereavement, identity, and moving past the experience of religious persecution. Trauma is a word used to describe a range of experiences. Sometimes the accumulation of hardships leaves us uncertain, insecure, or unfulfilled. I enjoy helping individuals grow beyond the hardships of the past and find ways to thrive and live life with openness and enthusiasm.
